I wanted to get my notebook computer connected to the internet and I needed to use an ISP that will compromise the mobility of my computer so I opted for the service of a company offering GRPS. I used a PCMCIA modem and was able to browse the internet from my notebook computer from any where within range. I decided to try it out using my Nokia N91 as a Modem and dicsovered that I could browse faster using my Mobile Phone than the PCMCIA modem. I later discoverd that I was using a low PCMCIA modem though i purchased it recently (I had no knowledge on Modems). I will advise anyone to go for a fast PCMCIA modem if you would be using a SIM card from your service provider to connect the internet.
